The Salvation Army Oshawa Community and Family Services recently received an ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT AWARD from the CITY OF OSHAWA.

This award was granted in recognition of the proactive approach taken byThe Salvation Army, Community and Family Services in making improvements totheir facility at 45 King St. E. in downtown Oshawa.  These improvements, whichincluded installation of an elevator and expansion of washrooms have madetheir facility especially the food bank much more accessible to members of ourcommunity that have a physical disability. 


A portion of this improvement wasprovided through the generous support of our Federal Government’s Homelessness Partnership Initiative.
