Registration for Christmas Hampers

The Salvation Army coordinates volunteer efforts as well as community resources and donations to provide Christmas Food and Toy Hampers for families and individuals in need in the Oshawa/Port Perry area

Where You Can Pre-Register:

The Salvation Army, Community and Family Services,

45 King Street East, 2nd Floor

Located at the corner of King and Albert (door is off of Albert Street)

Update:

Our pre-registration is now closed. If you have children under 17 years old and are still in need of a Christmas Hamper or toys, come to the Salvation Army Church Wed Dec 19th at 11am. For adults only our food hampers will be available Thursday Dec 20th at 1:30pm. We will do our best to assist you.


Information Required:                

  • Personal Identification for each applicant (1 Photo-ID or 2 other ID’s)
  • Identification for all children claimed (birth certificate/health card -must be original ID-NO PHOTOCOPIES)
  • Proof of current address (You must live in Oshawa or Port Perry to apply at this location)
  • Proof of rent (Rent receipt/lease agreement/mortgage staement/bank statement)
  • Proof of Income of every adult (Government Assistance Stub/Pay Stub/other incomes)
  • Child Benefit Income (CTB)

December 20 (Singles & Adult only households) – CFS Office - 45 King Street E, 2nd Floor

New Toy Drop-off:                

  • If you would like to donate and drop off new toys, you can do that at the new Oshawa Centre food court anytime the Centre is open, or at our church office between 9-3 Monday to Friday. Toy pickup by parents is Dec 18 & 19 2018 ...Thanks so much!
