Adult Programs at The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple

A warm welcome awaits you to our church family. Please join us at any time.  Call our office with any inquiries or should you wish a visit from our pastors (905 436-0011). Our church seeks to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We want to be known as a church with a huge welcome mat.  Everyone is invited and everyone who comes through our doors gets loved by us just as they are by God.  We're not perfect, in fact we're all broken people, but we try not to hide our brokenness, not to discriminate against anyone for any reason and not to reject others in their brokenness. We seek to walk together in brokenness knowing that the love of God and our mutual love and acceptance will lead us to wholeness.

3. THE EVENING VIDEO SESSIONS - SUNDAY NIGHTS

The Bait of Satan By John Bevere

Offense is the bait of Satan. It imprisons countless Christians, causes church splits, severs
relationships, and renders a person powerless and miserable. God deeply desires to rescue you from
this deadly snare. He wants to reveal His truth to you and heal you from the pain of the past. Jesus
said, “It is impossible that no offenses should come.” (Luke 17:1). Although you will encounter
offense, you can choose how you will react.

Did you know?

The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that began its work in Canada in 1882 and has grown to become the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in the country. The Salvation Army gives hope and support to vulnerable people today and everyday in 400 communities across Canada and more than 126 countries around the world. The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life, providing shelter for homeless people and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction. All this started from and continues from a church that cares about their community and each other. We welcome you any time.
